The Society for Turkic, Ottoman and Turkish Studies honors junior researchers with the GTOT Prize for outstanding theses from the fields of Turkic, Ottoman and Turkish Studies on the occasion of the Turkologentag.
A prize money of 500 euros each for the best three M.A. works and 1,000 euros for the best dissertation is awarded. Current announcements are published on this website.
Incoming applications will be reviewed by a commission of specialists, newly appointed for each announcement.
The award ceremony will be held as part of the Turkologentag.
